Sarah Pascoe has worked in the Cessnock LGA for many years. Sarah is the owner of Cessnock Plaza News & Gifts. Not only is Sarah a hard working business owner, she is also a hard working mother and an amazing wife. Sarah has re-joined the board after a small break and is ready to support local businesses.

Geoff Walker
Membership Officer
In recent years, Geoff stepped back from full-time work and with his wife, Julie decided that after almost 20 years of operating their retail small business, to take the opportunity to explore new interests and activities.
Besides his family, Geoff devotes his energy to involvement with the Cessnock community and is on a number of local boards and organisations, providing his knowledge, experience and learnings in assisting other businesses with their direction and strategies.
Geoff has a Bachelor of Business, majoring in marketing & business management, is a Justice of the Peace and an advocate for local business.
As the Membership Officer, Geoff provides assistance and encouragement to new business ventures while ensuring the needs of existing businesses and supporters of the Chamber are a consistent priority.
Catherine Williams
Secretary
Catherine Williams is our newly appointed Secretary, with a vast knowledge in HR. She brings an amazing wealth of organisational skills.
Anthony Burke
Board Member
Anthony has re joined the volunteer board after a hugely successful term as Town Coordinator. Anthony is currently Manager of Weston Workers Club, and looks forward to supporting businesses right across the LGA
Graham Ekert
Board Member
Graham has recently retired after a long successful tenure owning and operating a local maintenance business. Graham has always been hands on to support the Business Chamber and has now taken it a step further to be involved in the volunteer committee.
Krystal Sellars
Board Member
Krystal is a wearer of many hats – mother, wife, storyteller, student and more. She is the Community Engagement Manager at Cessnock Hospitality Group, where she began working in February 2023. Prior to this, she was a journalist at the Cessnock Advertiser for 16 years, and worked closely with the business chamber to help promote its initiatives over this time. Krystal is also studying a Bachelor of Climate Science and Adaptation at the University of Newcastle, and is a columnist for the Newcastle Weekly. She is excited to join the chamber in a formal capacity and work on its projects while helping to steer the newly-formed group, Cessnock Women Connect.
