As a voice of business, The Cessnock Business Chamber is here to support the business community.

In the mid 1900’s the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce was formed to provide opportunities for like minded business people to come together to do business. Over time the role of the Business Chamber has evolved, now delivering projects to support the wider business community. In 2021 the chamber was renamed to Cessnock Business Chamber to better align with our aim of supporting our local “businesses”. 

The Cessnock Business Chamber works across all sectors by facilitating relationships, ensuring that businesses can collaborate in creating opportunities for themselves, their partners, and their clients.
We are led by a volunteer board who work on projects to enhance opportunities and connectivity in the Cessnock and surrounding areas.

The Cessnock Business Chamber main board is made up of 10 members who not only work on our core deliverables, but also volunteer their time to various working sub-groups that focus on special projects. This results in weekly and monthly meetings being held to support the local businesses.

As a business chamber we provide support to the business community, delivering projects to support the economy, growth and sustainability within the Cessnock Local Government area.
