With the Annual General Meeting fast approaching, we will have some new positions open to join our Volunteer Committee.
After 9 years Rienna De Visser has decided to move onto new challenges which means we will have our Treasurers role vacant. During the year Stacy Jacobs stood down due to personal reasons which leaves our Secretary role also available.
Being able to give back to the local Cessnock Business community is a very rewarding opportunity. Assisting in events like the Cessnock Stomp Festival, Cessnock Customer Service Awards, Networking events and an exciting new event soon to be launched will provide an amazing experience.
The hands on learnings that these roles will bring will assist in your own business, or the business that you work within for many years to come.
I first joined the Board of the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce 10 years ago and have been across most executive positions. I can tell you that without my involvement with the Business Chamber my businesses wouldn’t be where they are today, and the networks I have made wouldn’t have been possible.
We meet once a month on the 4th Monday of the month and Volunteer positions are open to any current member who would like to take the opportunity to further their networks and skill sets.
