Cessnock STOMP Festival Announces Reschedule

The Cessnock STOMP Festival Committee today announced the decision to reschedule the 2024 Cessnock STOMP Festival to Sunday, April 6, 2025.

This decision comes after careful consideration to avoid conflicting with another major event on the Cessnock calendar. The Cessnock Business chamber is committed to ensuring the success of both events and believes this reschedule will allow the Cessnock community to fully enjoy each unique experience.

While there has been an approved Development Application for Cessnock STOMP Festival for our regular weekend, the Cessnock STOMP Festival committee believe it’s in the best interests of our town to see both events run on separate weekends.

“We understand this news may come as a disappointment to some,” said Sarah Pascoe, President of the Cessnock Business Chamber. “However, we strongly believe this move will benefit the Cessnock community in the long run. By ensuring the Postie Bike GP and Cessnock STOMP Festival have ample space on the calendar, both events can thrive and deliver the best possible experience for locals and visitors alike.”

The Cessnock Business Chamber apologises for any inconvenience caused by the reschedule. They are committed to making the 2025 Cessnock STOMP Festival the biggest and best yet, offering a day filled with music, entertainment, food, and family fun.

More information about the 2025 Cessnock STOMP Festival, including the lineup and ticketing details, will be available in the coming months. Stay tuned to the Cessnock STOMP Festival website and social media pages for updates.
