The Cessnock Chamber of Commerce continues to support the visual appearance of the Cessnock business district with an incentive designed to financially support businesses who wish to upgrade their building façade and or signage.
The purpose of the Facade Improvement Program is to encourage building owners and business operators in our CBD to improve the appearance of their building’s shopfronts. To this end, the Chamber offers grants of up to $1,000 (inc GST) for works that will improve the appearance of the building’s facade.
The Facade Improvement Program benefits the Cessnock community in the following ways:
√ By making the buildings more attractive, people will feel more comfortable and secure about doing business and spending time in the CBD
√ Increased activity in the CBD will generate more business and attract new businesses to the area.
