Clint Ekert
President
Clint Ekert has been recently elected to the President role of our Chamber of Commerce. Clint has a long history with our organisation including five years in various roles from Secretary, Membership, Vice President to Town Coordinator. Clint has 12 years experience running a family retail store, and is Currently Community Relations Coordinator for Cancer Council NSW covering the Hunter Region. Clint has had a key hands on role in each Stomp Festival and many of our projects.

Rienna DeVisser
Vice President & Treasurer
Rienna runs a successful Patisserie in the local area and brings a hospitality management background to the table for our Chamber. Rienna is hands on in many of our projects and has been in our oganisation for 2 years now. Being on the frontline with customers in our area gives Rienna an insight to what issues locals and visitors are most passionate about.
Bronwyn Musgrove
Secretary
Bronwyn Musgrove has been involved in the vocational training of many local persons during the past 22 years working in the Cessnock community within non- for-profit training schools. She is currently the RTO Operations Manager at Hunter Plant Operator Training School, which is in Cessnock and services the Mining and Construction Industry. Bronwyn has a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education and has a passion for adult learning. She has been on the Board of the Chamber for many years and is currently the Secretary. One of the main reasons Bronwyn is involved in the Chamber of Commerce is that she believes businesses should support one another and grow positively together to make certain we can grow local businesses and increase local employment opportunities for our community.
Geoff Walker
Membership Officer
Geoff has been involved in the operations of family small businesses all of his life. He has worked in the finance industry for many years, having a Bachelor of Business, majoring in marketing and business management and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Geoff’s wife, Julie is the owner of local fashion shop, Pizazz Boutiques here in Cessnock, while he and his two son’s need to travel outside of the local area for their daily work commitments. The main reason for Geoff’s involvement with Cessnock Chamber is to support the local business community, to thank “Cessnock” for being a great place to live and to help grow local business and employment opportunities for our residents.
Allan Davies
Board Member
Allan has recently returned to Cessnock after many years working both overseas and within Australia. Allan has held C-level positions within large global companies with responsibilities across IT, Property and Administration throughout the Asia Pacific region. Allan is the Practice Manager at Smyth Turner Wall, Lawyers and Conveyancers, and has joined the Chamber because he believes not only in giving back to the community, but also recognises how important it is for local businesses to have the tools and medium in order to support each other within the Cessnock community. He strongly believes in the positive role the Chamber of Commerce can offer in this regard and is pleased to be elected as a member of the Chamber of Commerce Committee.
Olivia Palfreyman
Board Member
Olivia is the Administration Manager at Palfreyman Chartered Accountants and is studying Law and Social Science (Human Services) at the University of Newcastle. On completion, Olivia hopes to join a local law firm in supporting young people and families experiencing difficulty. Olivia has been involved in the community for a number of years, through Equestrian sports as well as her role as Young Citizen of the Year. Olivia joined Cessnock Chamber of Commerce as a board member to encourage Cessnock’s young professionals to get involved with the development of their local business community.

Bradley is the Local Sales Manager for Hunter & Port Stephens publications of Australian Community Media and has been actively involved in the Cessnock community over the last 3 years. Brad is passionate about the local community and assisting local businesses to achieve their business and marketing goals. Brad has recently joined the Chamber to be more involved in the local community, and lend his experience of online & traditional media to the board, its members and the community.
